Sir, - I attempted recently to buy an Aer Lingus ticket to fly return to Heathrow. Not a single ticket office in Dublin - or anywhere else for that matter.
On five separate occasions last week I phoned Aer Lingus, only to be left waiting 15 minutes each time without a reply. What was the result? I bought a ticket from Ryanair, where I was dealt with promptly and efficiently.
How can Aer Lingus expect to do business when it makes it so difficult for customers to buy a simple ticket? Can you imagine Paris without an Air France office? - Yours, etc.,
