Bill Clinton's uncharacteristic stance of support for the historic and legally recognised rights of the Palestinian people was merely a charade designed to pre-empt criticism of his latest bombardment of Iraq (in cahoots with his lapdog-in-chief Tony Blair) on grounds of double standards.
Now that the US has again flexed its over-developed muscles and the baser instincts of the American people have been enlisted in Clinton's battle against impeachment, we can expect Israel to be allowed to continue with its US-funded flouting of international law.
