Sir, - Inasmuch as I possess enormous literary genius, combined with an excellent knowledge of current events and a mastery of composition, I agonise each and every time one of my belles-lettres goes unpublished. However, a recent letter (June 11th) highlighting a plethora of misdirected and undelivered post leads me to believe a percentage of my pedantic creations must certainly have been diverted into An Post's "black hole".
If I fail to see this letter in a future edition of The Irish Times I will have to conclude it has suffered a similar fate and is currently reposing in "An Post limbo". - Yours, etc.,
