Madam, - It is with great regret that I read about the horrific attack upon the Presentation Order's secondary school in Pakistan last Monday. It struck a chord with me personally as I am a student of a Presentation school in Co Dublin.
This outrage made me realise how lucky we are, here in Ireland, to have the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful education in a safe environment. As a student of a Presentation school I am able to vouch for its excellent standard of education and its Christian ethos which treats each pupil as an individual. It is a great shame that this institution of charity and Christian values has been put under threat in Pakistan. - Yours, etc,
