Sir, – I'm delighted to see that Harry McGee was named journalist of the year on the Tonight with Vincent Browne programme, as he is consistently fair, factual and balanced in his reporting, which, sad to say, cannot be said about very many journalists in the media today ("TV3 award for Irish Times journalist Harry McGee", December 16th). – Yours, etc,
