Sir, - The dismissal by the High Court of the "Baby O" case taken by the failed Nigerian asylum-seeker is to be welcomed as a victory for common sense. Refugees deliberately giving birth in this country should no longer guarantee rights of residence or citizenship. Everyone knows that our liberal asylum laws are being exploited and it is good that the courts have at long last officially recognised this fact. - Yours, etc.,
