Madam, – Given the ongoing intransigence of our European “partners”, it would seem appropriate for the Government and Irish media to replace the “EU” designation in all future communications with the earlier “EEC” acronym.
This would more accurately reflect the current political stance of the main drivers of the pan-European enterprise. – Yours, etc,
