Sir, – Fiona Reddan's article "Bank of Ireland intends to hang up on customer queries" (February 6th) highlights changes to Bank of Ireland's customer service. My father passed away recently and it took 11 days before I managed to speak to a human being in his Bank of Ireland branch, despite having emailed them immediately and making several attempts to contact them by phone.
