Sir, - I am an 18-year-old UCD student who was shocked and disappointed to discover that the play Barbaric Comedies is being staged in our National Theatre.
As a young woman I am ashamed and embarrassed that a play reportedly containing scenes of rape, necrophilia and masturbation is considered entertainment in our society today. This is not the kind of society I want to be part of. I would like to know who finds this entertaining. Certainly I don't. - Yours, etc.,
