Sir, - As visual artists we join the poet Michael Longley (October 19th) in his plea to Ms de Valera, Minister for the Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands, to heed the wisdom of those who know and deeply understand the unique nature of the Burren and in particular the Mullaghmore area. In this overlong battle we implore the Minister to let Mullaghmore triumph in its wild grandeur. Let it be. - Yours, etc.,
