Madam, - In "An Irishman's Diary" (March 26th), Kevin Myers refers to "the Catholic prelates who have successfully negotiated a deal protecting the Church from the financial consequences of what its priests have done in the past". I would point out that no such "deal" has been negotiated by the Irish bishops, individually or collectively. - Yours, etc.,
