Sir, – Following the news (Front page, February 14th) regarding the car bombing in India and an attempted strike in Georgia, I would like to draw your attention to the statement of the Iranian foreign ministry spokesperson, Ramin Mehmanparast, in which he brushed aside Israel’s accusation of Iranian involvement in the bombing and stated: “Terror scenarios in India and Georgia and claims by Zionist regime about Iran’s role in the terrorist operations, is another phase of psychological war against Tehran”.
He also added: “Tehran condemns terrorism in strongest term as Iran has been a victim of terrorism”. – Yours, etc,
