Madam, - As yet another free-taker was loudly booed in an otherwise very sporting Munster Final in Limerick last Sunday, I looked across at the new Thomond Park stand now dominating the skyline. I asked myself how more than 12,000 spectators packed into a Heineken Cup rugby match could show complete strangers respectful silence which hurling supporters can't offer near neighbours the same in our beautiful game.
Is this another example of an attitudinal change brought by the now substituted Celtic Tiger? If so, good riddance. - Yours, etc,
