Sir, - In relation to your review of Boyzone's concert at the Point Depot on June 20th, we have a few points to make.

Like other journalists, your reviewer seemed to base his musical criticism of Boyzone on their few cover versions rather than their numerous originals.teen band, he says: "They sing. They dance. They love their mothers. He later implies that their stage performance is "distasteful" and suggestive.

We fail to see how he can describe Boyzone as your typical goody-goody teen band and then go on to say that on stage they portray an image quite the opposite to the one with which they have been labelled.

As for the age-group of Boyzone fans, we are a few years past spending endless hours playing computer games, or even attending children's birthday parties.
