Madam, - I was interested to note the latest example of "auctioneer-speak" in an advertisement in Thursday's edition for the Point Village - which will, it seems, be "sitting on the buckle of Dublin's coastal wealth belt".
If only we could remove the said belt and administer same to the originator of this phrase for what it will surely spawn.
