Sir, - in response to the article by Katie Donovan and Sean Hillen about the centenary celebrations of Bram Stoker's Dracula (July 6th), I would like to inform your readers that they omitted several details. Although they included accounts of events planned by groups in the UK, US and Transylvania they did not mention the activities planned by the Bram Stoker Society here in Dublin, for 1997.

This was particularly surprising, since they had attended all the evening sessions of the recent summer school (June 27th-30th) where they both met and talked to the officers of the Bram Stoker Society.

Due to space shortages, we cannot describe our centenary plans here. However, any readers wishing to receive further information should contact me at this address, or else send a fax to 677-2694. Yours, etc., Hon. secretary, The Bram Stoker Society, Regent House, Trinity College, Dublin 2.
