Sir, – Boris Johnson’s impending divorce is no surprise given his track record of mastering no briefs other than pulling down his own. What is depressing is that this kind of personal break-up will actually enhance his leadership bid for the Tory party, a move mostly based on that foolish divorce of another kind: of the UK from the EU. – Yours, etc,
