Madam, - The latest edition of the Irish Defence Forces magazine An Cosantóir carries an article by two members of the Army who attended a three-week "All-arms Tactical Targeting Course" conducted by the British army in Wiltshire, England. The course encouraged clients to gain from "the wealth of experience that has been gained and the new techniques developed in Iraq under the umbrella of the different phases of the British operation, Telic."

Isn't bad enough for us Irish to have the blood of Iraqi people on our hands by allowing the American military unlimited use of Shannon Airport for their dirty deeds without having the Irish Army supporting a course offering a "wealth of experience", no doubt gained at the expense of the Iraqi people.

Have we any morality left? - Yours, etc,
