Sir, – As the pre-budget spin and waffle builds up, our Minister of Finance announced that the budget would be “fair”.
Recently our Taoiseach stated that it would be “tough”.
What Earth-shattering revelations!
Add them to the ongoing leaks and kite-flying, and I would guess that the general public is sick and tired of the drip of meaningless statements, direct and indirect, from our political leaders.
