Sir, - I note the remarks made by Mr. Woods under "Fair Comment" (February 12th) and point out that "appalling" mistakes made in your paper are not only those of spelling. I am still reeling from the shock I got on January 30th to read, in Den is Staunton's report from Berlin: "Cremation has become a popular way of death for Germans".
Perhaps the editor would address this burning question, and allay my fears. - Yours, etc.,
