BUS AND AIRLINE DISPUTES

Madam, - Here we go again

Madam, - Here we go again. The public is facing travel disruption and again it is the usual suspects - Aer Lingus and Dublin Bus - with industrial unrest being fomented by the unions.

Is it any wonder that Ryanair and the majority of international companies operating in Ireland will have nothing to do with unions? Yet I do not hear about workers in these companies suffering from inferior pay or terms and conditions and I do not hear of these companies having trouble recruiting or retaining staff.

Is there a message here? - Yours, etc,

CHRIS COGGINS, Stillorgan Wood, Stillorgan, Co Dublin.
