Sir, – It’s somehow ironic that we live in a world where excess CO2 production may be our undoing, yet they’re running out of carbon dioxide in the UK.
And here in Ireland, while we might congratulate ourselves on the barriers we’re putting in place to impede the construction of an LNG import terminal, the power generation companies are now once again going to fire up coal- and oil-burning power stations to get us over our energy demands.
It’s a strange old world.
