Sir, Rev Colin Young (July 17th) is to be congratulated for living in a part of the world that has such a perfect system of justice that he can turn his wrath on another country. For his information, however, there isn't one American penal system. There are 51 - one federal and one in each of the states. And in those states that have the death penalty, some of its most fervent supporters are reverend gentlemen of the cloth.
