Madam, - Christine Borinski (October 29th) rightly praises the many dedicated priests hurt by the present scandals and stresses how much we owe them. A quotation is perhaps relevant: "What would become of us without them amid these mighty storms that now beset the Church? If some of them have been wicked, the good will shine with greater brightness. May it please God to hold them in His hand and help them to help us".
