Sir, – A four-year-old boy, recovering from a fire, who has lost his parents and three of his siblings, is to live in a car park with his traumatised extended family ("Carrickmines survivors to live in car park", Front Page, October 22nd). I am not sure that "not ideal", as a council spokesman put it, really covers it. "Inhumane" would be a closer description.
Is this really the best that can be done? – Yours, etc,
