Sir, - The schoolchildren of Ireland have become beasts of burden. Each year their schoolbags get heavier as they struggle to and from their respective schools.
I would suggest that the next time the Minister for Finance has £20 million to spare, instead of squandering it on a bigoted GAA he should provide all the classrooms in our schools with suitable lockers. - Yours, etc.,
