Madam, - According to Mark Steyn (Opinion, February 21st), the CIA predicts that the EU will collapse in 15 years, a prediction which he regards as being "on the cautious side".
Considering the performance of the CIA over the past 20 years (not noticing that the Soviet Union was about to break up and being deluded into thinking Iraq could launch WMDs in 45 minutes are two which come to mind) perhaps he should chose more credible sources for his polemics. - Yours, etc.,
