Sir, – Sarah Schulman cannot have it both ways (Una Mullally, "Gentrification: When the children of the suburbs kill a city", Arts & Ideas, March 7th).
One the one hand, she decries suburbanisation, yet on the other she rightly lauds the student movement emanating from the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, which is slap bang in the middle of suburban Florida. – Yours, etc,
