Madam, – On an average of three days out of five in recent weeks, The Irish Timesfive-day weather forecasts have predicted "fog to start" or "fog early on" – often despite significant winds across the country. I haven't recently experienced any fog nor has Met Éireann felt it necessary to mention it in its forecasts. To an outsider, Ireland would appear to be frequently fog-bound.
