Madam, - That any sports journalist or commentator could take the shenanigans in Croke Park last Sunday as anything other than high farce is beyond reason. That it should make sporting headlines in some Irish newspapers as an international test of some consequence is laughable.
If we must have WWF football on TV, it would be nice to have it early in the day, at least before the four-year-olds have their nap. - Yours, etc.,
