Sir, - I find all the present fuss about who should receive Communion and in what church rather sad - and, let's face it, irrelevant to the vast majority of people, especially when you compare it with the altogether greater scandal where half of the world's Catholics are being denied Communion in their own Church because of a lack of male celibate priests, and there's not a squeak about it!
Isn't it time the Catholic Hierarchy questioned Rome on its thinking rather than waiting for the day when, perhaps, there might be no one left to celebrate the Eucharist, never mind receive it? - Yours, etc.,
