Madam, – As the Quinn Insurance group was placed in the hands of provisional administrators recently, Seán Quinn described the decision by the Financial Regulator as “one of the biggest errors ever in the history of corporate Ireland”. Funny that, I would have thought investing €3 billion in Anglo Irish Bank shares as being the winner of that accolade, followed closely by the decision of Anglo to fund the investment. – Yours, etc,
