Madam, - I hope the rest of your readers got as big a laugh as I did from Pól Ó Muirí's assertion (Opinion, December 19th) that Mary Robinson had a "cushy job" as UN High Commissioner for Human Rights.
Perhaps her remarks about women "copping out" were a little too off-the-cuff but, if nothing else, Mrs Robinson is to be commended for opening up a debate on the important issue of how society values women's contributions. - Yours, etc,
