An editorial in yesterday’s edition, concerning Middle East talks, made reference to senator George Mitchell. Mr Mitchell retired from the US Senate in 1995.
A report on the McCluskey Civil Rights Summer School in yesterday’s edition stated that Susan McKay, chairwoman of the National Women’s Council, “complained there was an effective loss of 35 per cent of the council’s resources in real terms”. Ms McKay was referring to the Irish Commission on Human Rights and not the National Women’s Council.
In an article in the edition of August 25th, reference was made to the Diploma In Speciality Food Production provided by UCD. The diploma is offered by UCC only.
