Sir, - The IDA Ireland is presently trying to get the £850 million plant for this country, which could create 1,500 badly needed jobs. What must the Hyundai people think when they see flights within Aer Lingus being disrupted because the Aer Lingus cabin staff object to Delta Airlines having one cabin crew on some of the Aer Lingus planes. Do these people who call these strikes not realise the harm they are doing? Or are they only interested in their own jobs, and care very little about somebody who might obtain a job which is very badly needed. No wonder Scotland is the favourite to get the plant. - Yours, etc.,
Costelloe Lodge,
