Madam, – There is no need to spend €10 million inventing a new postal code system (Home News, September 22nd). There already exists a widely known, location specific and easy system we could use. It’s called latitude and longitude. Using both degrees, minutes and seconds it gives pin-point accuracy, it’s on most maps and it works with existing technology, like GPS and Google Maps.
