Sir, - I read with interest your coverage of the A&E nursing strike. I would like to draw your readers' attention to two facts:
1. Junior doctors in Accident and Emergency units work under the same difficult and stressful conditions as our nursing colleagues and for many years have steered the sinking ship of healthcare through treacherous waters with little recognition.
2. Not one report that I have read in the last week has sought the opinion of any junior doctor in Accident and Emergency about the current difficulties they experience. - Yours, etc.,
