Sir, - I must disagree with the account of a meeting between Cura and the EHB, held in April, as outlined in a letter from the communications director of the EHRA (May 13th). However, I was very pleased to read in the letter that the board is open to agreeing a specific criteria/qualification for pregnancy counselling.
We in Cura look forward to positive and productive discussions on this very important matter with the Board as soon as possible, but do not believe it is appropriate that the discussions should take place through the media. I wish, also, to acknowledge Breda O'Brien's role in highlighting this issue, accurately. - Yours, etc.
