Sir, - While Michael J. Cassidy (May 20th) may regret the absence of a review of the recent performance of Dvorak's Requiem in your newspaper, I noted the lack of public interest in this masterpiece, with rows of vacant seats on the night.
In any other city tickets for this event would have been snapped up well in advance. Who knows what this illustrates? The streets of the capital were full with people that night with lengthy queues trying to gain entry to other programmes of entertainment. - Yours, etc.,
PÁDRAIG CURRY, Rathfarnham, Dublin 14.
