Madam, - Bill Roe (November 12th) points out that there are aberrant cyclists on our roads. Had Mr Roe finished the report of November 6th to which he referred, he would have read about cyclists acknowledging this by requesting that "on-road cycle training should become compulsory for all school pupils".
I believe it would be difficult to find a motorist or pedestrian who will not also concede that there are aberrant motorists and pedestrians. Creating an "us against them" attitude on the roads helps no one. We must seek to eliminate poor behaviour by all road-users through education and more active law enforcement. - Yours, etc,
