Sir - I was somewhat bemused to read in your paper the forecast by the Minister for Public Enterprise that LUAS may be up and running ahead of schedule. This is indeed most encouraging news.
Could I ask the same Minister if she would like to forecast when a DART service might commence operation to Greystones and Malahide. Perhaps her long term vision doesn't allow her focus on shorter timeframes. It would be nice however if someone could be made accountable for the abysmal failure of the project to meet any of the frequently revised implementation dates - Yours, etc.,
