Sir, – In "Proposed NI-Scotland tunnel fails to impress Stormont minister" (News, February 14th), you refer to Peter Hendy, who is heading the review on how to improve transport connectivity between Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and England, but use the British title "Sir".
That British title is a British honour, for British people, who have done service to Britain. And it is only a legal title in the UK. By using this title you are honouring this person for their British service. I do not believe the usage of this title is warranted in a non-British publication. – Yours, etc,
MAXWELL TSU,
Kilcolgan,
