Madam, - May I support Anthony Newsome (November 5th) in protesting at the continued imprisonment of the Panchen Lama by the Chinese government despite the fact that he is only a child?
On a recent visit to Tibet I saw for myself the devotion of almost all Tibetans to the practice of the Buddist religion despite generations of government by the atheistic Chinese.
What, if anything, is our member of the Security Council at the UN doing about this? - Yours, etc.,
