Although they do mention the telephone charges, because the answers to the questions posed are so simple, the number of callers is bound to be huge and the chances of winning correspondingly low. The main beneficiaries appear to be the radio/TV stations and the telecom providers. At a minimum, the parties involved should be obliged to make public the amount of revenue generated by each such competition and the breakdown of the beneficiaries. – Yours, etc,
