Sir, – Rossa Bunworth (May 29th) observed five fathers in a playground, each minding a child and taking a phone call at the same time. Could it be true that men are at last developing the ability to multitask? – Yours, etc,

Sir, – Rossa Bunworth provides the results of an impromptu survey he carried out in a park playground and concluded that six young men he observed over a period – each alone with a child – are all “boasters” and “self-deceivers” and obsessed with their phones. Damning findings indeed.
Can I ask if Rossa visited the playground for the sole purpose of conducting this survey or if he was also entertaining children and became as distracted as the men he observed? – Yours, etc,

Sir, – I totally agree with Rossa Bunworth. Too many fathers in playgrounds with their children look like they wish they were somewhere else. – Yours, etc,
