Dogs at Seapoint

A chara, – Of course one does not expect dogs to read, even Seapoint dogs. However, it is surprising that there are local dog-owning residents who have not mastered the art of reading. Dogs are forbidden in the bathing area at Seapoint.

Yet on Sunday morning I witnessed two dog-owners playfully throwing sticks into the sea for their pets to retrieve. The public stood back, small children clutched their parents’ hands and the “No Dogs in Bathing Area” signs went unobserved. Reading age of dogs nil. Reading age of some owners ditto. – Is mise,
