Sir, - I agree with the sentiments expressed by Deirdre Mooney (September 21st). In response to a radio appeal heard on July 4th last, I went to Pelican House to donate blood at 12.45 p.m. the next day. Due to inadequate staffing, it took until 2.20 p.m. to complete the donation. While the staff who were there were courteous to me at all times, I was encouraged to express my annoyance at the delay in writing.
A letter outlining my experience was sent to the BTSB that day, and so far remains ignored by the person to whom I was directed to write. Somebody in the BTSB needs to pay attention to the public. - Yours, etc.,
Tom Branigan, Harlech Downs, Goatstown Road, Dublin 14.
