Sir, After my last letter to your paper on the state of our road up here (post Coillte), our postman, in an effort to help, spoke to his powers that be, saying the road was a disaster. He did so in the hope that they would speak to other (Coillte and Wicklow County Council) powers that be and try to get something done. Their solution? That boxes be put in at the end of the road.
Are my children and I going to be left in a (vast) sitka spruce plantation, with a rapidly disintegrating road, polluted water supply, and no services coming in? - Yours, etc.,
