Sir, - Might the obvious inconsistency of Dr Walton Empey's valedictory claim (Irish Times, July 29th) to aspire to better Anglican relations with Catholics while yet again taking one last impertinent swipe at an internal memorandum of the Catholic Church addressed to her members only by authority of the Pope himself, namely Dominus Iesus, be acknowledged? - Yours, etc.,
