Sir, – On Wednesday, there were some Dublin City Council workers fixing pavements on Baggot Street near Baggot Street bridge. I mentioned to them that there was a serious tripping hazard on the pavement across the road where the edge of a manhole had become exposed due to the sand-and-cement pointing breaking up.
By noon yesterday, it had been fixed.
